(forgive my enthusiasm, it's the first time I've gotten first place, ever)). So, if someone else wants to improve Dagger a little, go right ahead. Put your name on it; just mention me in the strategy block. Of course, if you just want a copy of Dagger because it's a reasonably good 94-X program to test your programs against, by all means take a copy. It's not secret or anything -- if it was, I wouldn't be posting it. Also, Dagger can easily be converted to run in standard 8000 coresize; I leave the actual conversion as an exercise for the reader. (I've done it myself and can give you a copy if you want, I just posted this version because a) there are fewer 94-X programs posted; I know I sometimes have a hard time finding programs to test mine against and b) I'm trying to encourage 94-X program development -- I think that 94-X is a great idea and everyone should use it ;-) ;redcode-94x ;name Dagger v6.0 X ;author Michael Constant ;kill Dagger ;strategy spl/jmp cmpscanner adder add full, scan scan cmp.x -2-386, -2 slt #half-scan+386+1, scan cnt djn adder, #27722 attack mov jump, @scan mov split, -384 mov half, <-2 jump jmp -1, <-386 full dat >-772, >-772 half dat >-386, >1-386 -- Michael Constant (mconst@soda.berkeley.edu) GM/CS d? p c++++ l u++ e(*) m++ s--/- h f+(++) g++ w++ t+++ r+@ !y
